Roddur Roy was finally arrested

Entertainment Desk: 'Self-proclaimed poet' Roddur Roy has been arrested for making indecent remarks on social media targeting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Kolkata police arrested him from Goa on Tuesday (June 6).

Recently, after Mamata Banerjee received the Bangla Academy Award for Literature, Roddur Roy attacked her with vulgar language. Trinamool supporters filed a case in his name at that time. Roddur Roy abused Mamata on Facebook Live a few days ago without cutting that resh. Then on June 3, Trinamool leader Riju Dutt lodged a complaint with Chitpur police station.

Earlier on May 12, two persons had lodged a complaint with the police station in the name of Roddur Roy claiming to be grassroots activists. A complaint was lodged in the name of Roddur Roy at Patuli Police Station and Lalbazar Cyber ​​Cell.

Aritra Saha has lodged a complaint with Patuli Police Station and Vijay Bandyopadhyay has lodged a complaint with Cyber ​​Cell. Both claim that the elected Chief Minister of West Bengal has been dishonored. They demanded appropriate punishment against Roddur for this crime. After filing multiple FIRs under the non-bailable section, Roddur Roy was finally arrested.
