The additional DIG is Shahidullah, a son of Chittagong

Chittagong Correspondent: Patuakhali Superintendent of Police Mohammad Shahidullah, son of Chittagong Fatikchhar, has been promoted to the post of Additional DIG. The promotion was announced in an order signed by Home Ministry Deputy Secretary Dhananjay Kumar Das on Thursday (June 2nd). SP Shahidullah started his career as an ASP in Sylhet district through the 24th batch of police. After that he spent his career in different parts of the country including RAB and for a long time he has been in charge of CMP's AC Traffic, ADC DB, DC DB, DC Counter Terrorism, DC Traffic. Then on February 8, 2021, this meritorious police officer Mohammad Shahidullah was promoted as SP of Patuakhali. Mohammad Shahidullah, a meritorious son of Fatikchhari, Chittagong, passed high school with merit from Chittagong College. He later passed BSc Engineering from CUET and joined the cadre service of the police force. He is the son of late Ahmed Safar of Haji Ahmad Gani Saudar Bari, Ward 3, Paindong Union, Fatikchhari Upazila.
