15 more newly infected with dengue

News Desk: In the last 24 hours, 15 people have been admitted to the hospital after being newly infected with dengue. They are residents of Dhaka district. This information was given in the regular dengue report of the Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room of the Health Department on Saturday (May 26). According to the report, 15 of those admitted to the hospital due to dengue are residents of Dhaka. At that time no dengue patient was admitted to any hospital outside Dhaka. The report further said that at present the total number of dengue patients is 43 including 15 new ones admitted in different government and private hospitals of the country. 42 people are admitted in different government and private hospitals in Dhaka. Only one patient is admitted outside Dhaka. According to the Department of Health, a total of 310 patients were admitted to the hospital from January 1 to May 28. Of them, 26 have recovered and left the hospital. There have been no deaths from dengue so far this year.
