Snake caught in paddy field in Hatibandha

Lalmonirhat Correspondent: A 7-foot-long snake was recovered from a paddy field in Mather Gore area of ​​Naodabas union in Hatibandha upazila of Lalmonirhat district on Saturday (May 26). According to local sources, Habibur Rahman, a farmer in the area, went to cut paddy on his land at noon. At this time he saw the python. Later, a few more local farmers rescued the snake. There is panic in the area. Hatibandha Upazila Livestock Officer said. Motaharul Islam said that after receiving the news, they went to the spot and rescued the snake and kept it in the custody of the concerned Union Parishad. The people of the forest department will go and leave the snake in the forest. Hatibandha Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nazir Hossain said police were immediately dispatched after receiving the news and the snake was recovered and kept in custody. People from the forest department will come and take the snake and release it in the local Shalban.
