Salah Uddin, Dinajpur: Forty orphaned women of Shishu Niketan in the guise of Raj Kumari went to their new home in a new house in Dinajpur without any dowry. Thousands of guests from various walks of life including Whip and Deputy Commissioner of Jatiya Sangsad took part in the reception. The people concerned are happy to be by the side of that great and exemplary work conducted by the government and private donations. There was no shortage of arrangements for orphans as 40 daughters without dowry at the wedding farewell ceremony. The bride is dressed in a red tuktuk benarasi sari next to the groom in pajamas seroani wearing a hat on her head. They were bid farewell to the pot party at an event at a community center in the city. Thousands of guests were entertained with polao beef and roast beef. Each couple has been given 29 types of equipment including pillow beds. The groom received a gift of a sewing machine and a bicycle for the bride as a helper to run the household. The guests including the bride and groom get involved in various formalities including the traditional wedding rituals of rural Bengal. The daughters who lost their fathers were not allowed to understand the pain of orphans in organizing the joy. Syed Mizanur Rahman Munna, president of the Lions Club of Dinajpur, said that with the help of local and foreign donors and a voluntary social organization called Lions Club, 35 percent of the land at Nimnagar bus stand in Dinajpur city was taken care of by orphans and orphan girls. Shishu Niketan (the institution) is an orphanage for making worldly clothes and teaching various subjects including computers. The house, which was initially made up of 10 orphans, now houses 100 orphaned women and children who have lost their fathers. On Friday (May 26), 174 of the 40 foster children were officially married when they reached adulthood after passing the Higher Secondary (HSC). The organizers want to continue that continuity. City Social Services Office official Moinul Islam said. However, the great work of rehabilitating the children of orphaned women has not stopped even though the grants of foreign donors including Canada and Norway have stopped. For the last 15 years, besides the local social workers, the Ministry of Social Welfare of the government has been providing financial assistance of 12 lakh 24 thousand per annum for 51 resident children. Thanks to that financial support, orphans and orphaned women and children are finding a new direction of life in the society along with self-restraint and protection from being misled and misguided. Meanwhile, the newlyweds are happy to have a new home and family with their lifelong companion groom. However, many have found it difficult to leave the orphanage for children and adolescents. They are expecting a better future by erasing the misery of the past. Many people came to the newborn's lap due to the late departure due to marriage and Corona's overdose 2 years ago. Happy bride and groom parties involved in the organization. Orphans are not a burden to the society, so they are hoping that others will come forward in such a noble cause. Mentioning that the present Sheikh Hasina government is giving an allowance of around Tk 16 crore to about 6,500 orphans in Dinajpur, Iqbalur Rahim MP, MP of Jatiya Sangsad Whip Local (Dinajpur 3) constituency, wanted to stand by them in providing all kinds of assistance in employment of newlyweds.
