Free distribution of Awami League leader's oil in Kushtia

Rabiul Alam, Kushtia: The market for edible oil soybean in the country has been volatile recently. The government is embarrassed. Despite the rise in oil prices in the international market, there are allegations that some unscrupulous traders are syndicating and destabilizing the market. The responsible department of the government is also conducting operations to control the bazaar. However, when there is such a situation with oil, the news of free distribution of oil by an Awami League leader in Kushtia is being discussed all over the district. Zakir Hossain Bulbul, treasurer of Bheramara Upazila Awami League of the district, has distributed one liter of soybean oil in his own area Farakpur among more than two hundred needy people on his own initiative. Though the businessman thought that the distribution of his oil was positive, the local Awami League leader and the conscious community had a mixed reaction on the issue. In this regard, an influential leader of Bheramara Upazila Awami League said on condition of anonymity that the local Awami League did not take the matter well. We do not understand why he distributed oil. The local Awami League is embarrassed about the matter. Since the government is embarrassed about the oil. Bheramara Upazila Awami League treasurer Zakir Hossain Bulbul said, "I provide such assistance from time to time." Since the price of oil is high. So with that in mind, I have distributed oil free of charge to over two hundred helpless people in my area. I thought the matter was simple. Rafiqul Alam Tuku, a representative of the conscious civil society, said that since the oil market is volatile. There is nothing wrong with voluntarily distributing oil for free.
