Beggars do not want to take less than 10 rupees 'touches of development everywhere'

News Desk: Mentioning that Bangladesh has changed under the magical leadership of Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina, Information and Broadcasting Minister Hasan Mahmud said, “Development has touched everywhere. Cities have changed, villages have changed. People are living better lives. Now how do you look at a fakir if he begs for two rupees and five rupees. Fakir does not want to take less than 10 rupees.

The minister was speaking as the chief guest at a function organized in Comilla on Wednesday to mark the 123rd birth anniversary of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.

Hasan Mahmud said, “Comilla city has also undergone tremendous development. People from here enter the city on the flyover. There have been high-rise buildings. The look of the road has changed. Now there is not much difference between Dhaka and Comilla. And all this has been possible due to the strong leadership of Sheikh Hasina. ”

Culture Secretary welcomed the ceremony. Abul Mansur. Retired Professor and Nazrul Researcher Shanti Ranjan Bhowmik delivered the commemorative speech. Comilla Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Kamrul Hasan expressed his gratitude. The second phase of the program is a pleasant cultural program.
