News Desk: Apple, the US technology company, is looking for new ways to reduce production costs in the wake of China's lockdown due to the epidemic and the Ukraine-Russia war.

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, the tech giant is also considering relocating its business outside of China. And countries like India and Vietnam are thinking of them as an alternative.

The United States has said China is indirectly helping Russia in its war against Ukraine. And so many Western companies are planning to reduce production dependence on China. However, 90 percent of Apple's iPhone, iPad and MacBook laptops are made in China.

Apple chief executive Tim Cook said in April that Apple wanted to expand its reach worldwide. And so they are looking for ways to increase production in other countries so that Apple products can be made everywhere.

Meanwhile, a new lockdown has been issued in China to increase the number of corona infections. As a result, Apple has not been able to send manpower there for the last two years.

On the other hand, Apple is in talks with several suppliers to increase production and business in India. Already 3.1 per cent of Apple products are being produced in India. So the country is hoping that this production rate will increase further in the future.
