Inauguration of Bangabandhu Gold Cup Football Tournament at Gopalpur

Gopalpur (Tangail) Correspondent: Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman National Gold Cup Football Tournament (Under-17) has been inaugurated at Gopalpur Upazila level. Local MP Tanvir Hasan Chhota Monir inaugurated the tournament at the local Suti VM Government Pilot Model High School on Friday afternoon (May 20) at the initiative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Mosharraf Hossain, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Saiful Islam Talukder Suruj, Press Club President Prof Joynal Abedin, Hadira UP Chairman Bilkis Jahan, Hemnagar UP Chairman Raushan Khan Ayub, Mirzapur UP Rafiqul Islam, Athlete Vir Muktijoddha Torap Ali Sikder, Suti VCM Golam Raihan Bapon is the physical education teacher in the school. In the opening match, the municipality team defeated Hemnagar Union team 1-0.
