The fight between the two Conmebol-UEFA champions, the 'Finalisima', is over. On June 1, Euro champions Italy and Copa America winners Argentina will face off in that match. Argentina have announced the final squad for the match to be played at Wembley Stadium in England. There is a surprise in that. Argentine midfielder Leandro Pardes has been out of action since April with an abdominal injury. His possible return date was set for June 5, four days before the final. However, he was included in the 35-member preliminary squad provided by coach Lionel Scaloni. However, he did not get a place in the final squad. That injury is the reason behind it. Five more footballers from that 35-member squad did not make the final list. Notable among them are Lucas Alario and Lucas Ocampos. Although their place in the Argentina team is not ready yet, it is important not to have them in the squad of Italy match, because the opponent is European!
