News Desk: On the third day of Cannes Film Festival, the trailer of Bangabandhu's biopic 'Mujib: Rupkar of a Nation' premiered in the Indian pavilion. Hasan Mahmud, Information Minister of Bangladesh, Anurag Singh Tagore, Minister of Broadcasting of India, Arefin Shuvo, who played the role of Bangabandhu, and Nusrat Imroz Tisha, who played the role of Bangabandhu's mother were present at the festival. This 90-second trailer, which begins with Bangabandhu's speech on March 7, captures the twists and turns of Mujib of Tungipara becoming Bangabandhu. Joining the unveiling of the trailer of the film after two long years of shooting, the Information Minister said, "The film will present Bangabandhu to the new generation." And the Indian Broadcasting Minister said, "This is a reminder of the friendship between the two countries." Arefin Shuvo and Nusrat Imroz Tisha, the two crew members of the film, shared their feelings in this historic moment. Film director Shyam Benegal joined the video message. Meanwhile, film critic Bidhan Riberu has made Bangladesh proud on the third day of Cannes festival. This evening the festival's fiery jury team walked the red carpet of the festival.
