A college student died on the road in Lalmonirhat

Mostafizur Rahman, Lalmonirhat: An honors second year candidate named Nayan Mia (20) died in a road accident in Kaliganj upazila of Lalmonirhat. He died at Rangpur Medical College Hospital at 3pm on Thursday (May 19). Earlier in the morning, he was seriously injured in a road accident in Chapartal-Kakina market area. The deceased was identified as Nayan Mia, son of Yunus Mia of Kadma village under Velaguri union under Hatibandha upazila. He is a second year examinee of marketing department of Kakina North Bangla College. According to local sources, Kakina was riding a motorcycle to take exams at North Bangla College. On the way, Chapartal-Kakina Bazar road collided with a truck and fell on the pitch. The locals rushed him to Rangpur Medical College Hospital in critical condition. He died while undergoing treatment there. Kakina has confirmed the death of Shahiduzzaman Nayan, headmaster of marketing department of Uttar Bangla College.
