News Desk: Coronavirus has been detected in 36 people across the country in 24 hours. So far, the total number of identified patients is 19 lakh 53 thousand 49 people. The detection rate is zero point six percent.

No one has died of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. As a result, the total number of deaths remained unchanged at 29,126.

This information has been given in the regular press release about corona sent from the Department of Health on Monday (May 16).

According to the notification, 220 people recovered from Corona in 24 hours. So far 16 lakh 99 thousand 739 people have recovered.

4,792 samples were collected in 24 hours. 4,690 samples were tested. In contrast to the test, the detection rate is zero point six percent. The total detection rate since the beginning of the epidemic is 13.90 percent.

On March 6, 2020, the first 3 people in the country were diagnosed with coronavirus. Ten days later, on March 17 of that year, the first person in the country died of the virus. On August 5 and 10 last year, a maximum of 264 people died in two days.
