Ehsan Rana, Faridpur: To expedite the law and order activities of the police, the zamindar family of Ishan Gopalpur has handed over 34 land donation deeds for the police outpost No. 2 at Haveli Gopalpur in Faridpur. On this occasion, Uttam Sarkar, son of Khagendra Nath Sarkar of Ishan Gopalpur village, Ujjwal Sarkar and their mother Lipika Sarkar on behalf of Utpal Sarkar handed over the documents to Faridpur District Superintendent of Police. He handed it over to Alimuzzaman. Zamindatara Roy Saheb is the fifth generation grandson of Ishan Chandra Sarkar (Zamindar). Meanwhile, Faridpur District Awami League President Shamim Haque, Faridpur Municipal Mayor Amitabh Bose Faridpur Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Jamal Pasha, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Sumon Ranjan Sarkar, Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) Md. Helaluddin Bhuna, Inspector of Police Outpost No. 2 Sunil Kumar Karmakar, President of Faridpur Press Club Kabirul Islam Siddiqui, General Secretary of District Bar Association Manik Majumder, General Secretary of Faridpur Press Club Mahbubul Islam Pikul were present. While understanding the documents, Faridpur Superintendent of Police Alimuzzaman said that besides the activities of the police, the people also have a role to play in maintaining law and order. The range of city Faridpur is increasing. Faridpur City Corporation and Division may be formed soon. Therefore, the activities of the police have also increased. As the population grows, so does the capacity of the police. It may be mentioned that the market value of the land fixed by the government is Tk. 2 crore 111 lakh 42 thousand and the value of the establishment is Tk.
