News Desk: Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has claimed that New Market and Dhaka College areas used to become battlefields every day during BNP rule.

He made the demand while addressing a function to distribute agricultural inputs among farmers on the occasion of the founding anniversary of Krishak League on Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital on Thursday.

He said while the country was moving forward at an indomitable pace on the development highway under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, an insidious mahal had risen up against the country and its people. Obaidul Quader said that Sheikh Hasina has kept Bangladesh stable today with its balanced policy despite the obstacles of conspiracy and obstruction. Obaidul Quader said, "Bangladesh has a leadership like that of Sheikh Hasina today. It is much better compared to many other countries." 13 years ago Bangladesh and this Bangladesh is the difference between day and night. Where was Bangladesh? Where did Bangabandhu's daughter come from?
