Bangladesh Army is by the side of helpless people in Bandarban

News Desk: Bangladesh Army has been providing various kinds of assistance to the helpless hilly and Bengali families in order to strengthen peace, harmony and development in three hill districts.

Following this, Bandarban Army Region organized a special grant and financial assistance programme at the Bandarban Stadium on Thursday.

 

At the event, wheelchairs for the disabled and rickshaws among the helpless unemployed, vans, sewing machines and water pumps for poor farmers were provided. Besides, Tk 6 lakh financial assistance has been given to 77 family.

Bandarban Army Regional Commander Brigadier General Md Ziaul Haque, Zone Commander Bandarban Zone and many others were present on the occasion.

Brigadier General Md Ziaul Haque called upon all to work hand in hand for maintaining peace, harmony and development through various print and electronic media personnel.

He promised Bangladesh Army to provide all possible assistance to all ethnic groups living in the Chattogram Hill Tracts in case of any emergency.

In the future too, the Bangladesh Army will continue to work tirelessly for the betterment of the living standards of the people of all nationalities and religions, including the small ethnic groups in the hilly areas.
