JOB Correspondent: The movement of independent producers in the film industry is gradually advancing the domestic film industry in the world arena. Following in his footsteps, Ehsan Al Miraj's film 'As Black as the City' is going to be screened at this year's Dhaka International Film Festival on January 22 and 23 at Bangladesh National Museum and Shilpakala Academy respectively.
This 11-minute documentary depicts contemporary society. The producer said, "It's just an attempt to paint a picture of society in an aesthetic way, as black as the city. We invite everyone to watch the movie. I also wish that the film festivals in the country become more regular."
The Dhaka International Film Festival is being held like every year. Which is the biggest gathering of film artists-spectators-crew. The film festival will start on January 15 this year and will continue till January 23.
