Blood donation program on the occasion of the founding anniversary of Chhatra League

News Desk: Voluntary blood donation program has been observed on the occasion of the 64th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Chhatra League. The blood donation drive started on Saturday afternoon at Battala of Dhaka University's Undefeated Bengal under the chairmanship of BCL President Al-Nahyan Khan Joy and General Secretary Lekhak Bhattacharya. Leaders and activists of Central BCL, Dhaka University BCL and BCL of different units donated blood voluntarily.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Dipumani MP said, "The leaders and activists of Chhatra League have stood by the miserable people in the ideological path of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu. Poor and helpless patients will benefit through blood donation of Bangladesh Chhatra League leaders and workers. Dr. Dipumani also said that the country and the nation will benefit from this great initiative of Chhatra League. '

 

Chhatra League President Al-Nahyan Khan Joy said, "As part of the history of the glory, tradition, struggle and success of Bangladesh Chhatra League, our beloved leader Deshratna Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the Virtual Blood Bank program on January 4. Through this blood bank, the leaders and workers of Chhatra League will donate blood, the sick patients of the country will benefit in case of emergency.

Writer Bhattacharya, general secretary of Chhatra League, said, ‘Bangladesh Chhatra League is an organization formed by the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Under the leadership of Deshratna Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh Chhatra League has always come forward in the service of humanity in all the disasters and crises of the country. '

Speakers at the event said that as part of the glorious history, Chhatra League is voluntarily donating blood for the needy patients in case of emergency. The BCL leaders also said that all these activities will continue under the leadership of Deshratna Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu, as the bearer of the ideology of Father of the Nation.
