Bangabandhu's 'Pradeepta Bhaskar' seminar was held at Bashemur Biprabi

Bashemur Biprabi Correspondent: Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology (BASHEMURBIPRABI) has organized a seminar on "Glorious Traditions of Bengalis and Bangabandhu's 'Bright Sculptor'" The seminar was held on Saturday (December 16) in the seminar room of the university.

The convener of the Netaji-Bangabandhu Janachetana Implementation Committee Professor. Member of Awami League Advisory Council and Chief Adviser of Netaji-Bangabandhu Janchetana Jatra Implementation Committee Amir Hossain Amu (MP) spoke as the chief guest under the chairmanship of Uttam Kumar Barua.

 Also present as a special guest was the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. AQM Mahbub and Gopalganj District Awami League General Secretary Mahbub Ali Khan. Also present on the occasion was Gazipur-3 MP Muhammad Iqbal Hossain Sabuj.

Speaking as the chief guest, Amir Hossain recalled the contribution of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Bangabandhu in the land of Amu Bangla and said that in order to take Bangladesh forward, history must be known.

University Vice-Chancellor Prof. AQM Mahbub said Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman are among the people who have worked in the world in the spirit of secularism.

At the same time, the Vice-Chancellor further said, "We have to cherish and retain the non-communal consciousness that Bangabandhu has given in the history through a nation, country, map and geographical boundaries."

Executive Officer of Gopalganj Sadar Upazila Rashedur Rahman, Researcher Ashraful Islam, Founder President of Bangladesh Itihas Aitiya Kendra Selim Reza and others also spoke on the occasion.
