Malaysian plane makes emergency landing in Dhaka due to bomb scare, search underway

CNI Desk: A flight of Malaysian Airlines has made an emergency landing at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in bomb scare.

Hailing from Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur, the flight landed in Dhaka around 9:40 pm on Wednesday.

 

Emergency service officials and fire fighters were notified before the plane landed.

 

According to the airport authorities, the plane made an emergency landing at Shahjalal after being informed of a bomb.

Asked about the situation at the airport, HSIA director Group Captain AHM Tauhid ul Ahsan told Daily Sun that they were searching the aircraft and they were yet to find any bomb inside it.
