The month of great victory has begun

News Desk: December is the month of victory achieved through the great liberation war starting from today. The month of independence, which was won in exchange for the disgrace of 3 million martyrs and 200,000 mothers and sisters, will once again be celebrated in Corona Abah.

The greatest event in the long political history of Bangladesh is the great liberation war of 1971. This month marks the fulfillment of thousands of years of social, political and economic dreams of the Bengali nation through a historic event of armed freedom struggle under the leadership of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The greatest achievement of the Bengali nation was the unforgettable glorious final victory of the war of liberation which was achieved on 16th December of this month. Bengalis gained recognition all over the world as an independent nation. Acquires its own territory. And its own national flag emblazoned with red sun on the green chest. The nationalism that was formed on the basis of language, the freedom declared after the victory after a bloody war is fulfilled today.

This December is also a month of mourning for the bereaved as the dream of a thousand years of Bengalis has been fulfilled as well as many young lives have been sacrificed and this has been achieved in return for the respect of mother and sister.

In the same month, the anti-independence forces, with the help of their local collaborators Razakar-Al-Badr Al-Shams, resorted to brutal killings of the country's best children, intellectuals and intellectuals. There is no other instance in the world of such a heinous massacre to make the whole nation incompetent.

From the beginning of December 1971, the news of the defeat of the barbaric Pakistani aggressors in the face of guerrilla attacks by the freedom fighters and a joint force of Indian allied forces on water, land and air began to spread.

On 16 December this year, Pakistani forces were forced to surrender at the historic Racecourse Maidan (now Suhrawardy Udyan) in Dhaka. On March 7, the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the architect of independence, called for independence, saying, "This time the struggle is for our liberation, this time the struggle is for freedom." The final victory of the bloody war of 9 months was achieved. And the nation achieves the freedom of the dream of a thousand years.

On the night of March 25, 1971, the Pakistani executioners launched a surprise armed attack on the unarmed people, killing thousands of people and forcing an unequal war on the unarmed Bengalis. Bangabandhu formally declared independence before being captured by the Pak army on the night of March 25, 1971 and in response to his call the Bengali nation unitedly jumped into the war of liberation. On the night of March 25, the Pakistani aggressors encountered an armed resistance at the Rajarbagh police line. The final victory of the nation was achieved on 16 December in exchange for the loss of 3 million martyrs and 2 lakh mothers and sisters in the long 9-month armed people's war.

In addition to the national program to celebrate the month of this great victory, detailed programs have been taken by various political, social, cultural and professional organizations.

Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal-Jasad will celebrate Muktijoddha Day today (December 1) across the country. On this occasion, Mirpur Bir Muktijoddha will pay homage to the martyred and late national heroes by laying wreaths at the graveyard at 9 am. Besides, a brief discussion meeting has been organized at Bir Muktijoddha Cemetery premises on the initiative of Jasad Dhaka Metropolitan West Committee.

On this day, at 11 o'clock in the morning, a wreath will be laid at the historic Suhrawardy Udyan Shikha Chirantan to pay homage to the heroic freedom fighters. Awami Swechchhasebak League will pay homage to the martyrs at 12:01 pm.
