Raushan Ershad's physical condition has improved

News Desk: Leader of the Opposition in Parliament and Jatiya Party's main patron Raushan Ershad's physical condition has improved. The bank is giving oxygen to this veteran politician who is undergoing treatment. However, doctors have not yet said whether he is safe.

Opposition leader Saad Ershad MP said this on Tuesday (November 18) morning. He is currently in Bangkok with his mother.

"She is OK. Ammar has now improved a bit from the condition he was brought from Dhaka. Slightly better than before. He is currently being given oxygen. However, the doctors have not yet said whether he is safe or not.

Jatiya Party's main patron Raushan Ershad has gone to Bangkok by air ambulance for better treatment. On the evening of November 5, he was taken to Dhaka from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. He is being treated at Bamrungrad Hospital in Bangkok. In that situation, rumors of his death spread in the country.

Earlier, on October 28, Jatiya Party Chairman and Deputy Leader of the Opposition GM Quader said that the Leader of the Opposition Raushan Ershad was on the verge of death due to various diseases of old age. He has been undergoing treatment at CMH for a long time. Her blood pressure and heartbeat are good but she is weak.

He further added that if the doctors give a positive opinion, he will be taken abroad. Doctors say Raushan Ershad is mainly suffering from geriatric disease. Physicians are trying their best.

When he went to CMH for regular health check-up on August 14, doctors found abnormal levels of carbon dioxide in Raushan Ershad's lungs. At that time his oxygen saturation was also low. He was admitted to the hospital on the same day. Where the normal level of carbon dioxide in the lungs is supposed to be 50-60, it was more than 200.

However, his corona and dengue test results are negative. When his condition deteriorated, he was taken to the ICU on August 18. He was in ICU for several days at that time. He was later transferred from ICU to the VVIP cabin of CMH's Officers Family Ward on August 25. The 7-year-old politician was taken to the ICU again on October 20 after his condition deteriorated again.

Jatiya Party founder and former president late Hussain Muhammad Ershad's wife Raushan Ershad is a Member of Parliament for Mymensingh-4 constituency. He has been the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament for the last two terms. After Ershad's death, his son Rahgir Al Mahi Saad took part in the by-election from Rangpur-3 constituency and was elected Member of Parliament.
