In Chittagong, the corona detection rate is zero point 0.34 percent

News Desk: No one has died in Chittagong in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus infection. However, five people have been identified as infected during this time. Through this, the total number of identities in the district stood at one lakh two thousand 319 people.

A report released by the Chittagong Civil Surgeon's Office on Tuesday (November 18) morning revealed this information.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Mohammad Ilias Chowdhury said that in the last 24 hours, samples of 1,429 people were tested in different labs of Chittagong and corona germs were detected in the bodies of five of them. Compared to the test, the detection rate is zero point 34 percent. Besides, one of the identified is a resident of the city and the other four are residents of different upazilas.

He added that in the last 24 hours, one corona has been identified in Fauzdarhat BITID Lab, one in Chittagong Veterinary University Lab, two in Chittagong Maternal and Child Hospital Lab and one in General Hospital RTRL Lab.
