News Desk: A fire broke out at a shoe factory called Pace International Limited in Ashulia, Savar. Later, seven units of the fire service tried for about two hours to bring the fire under control.
The fire broke out at 11:30 pm on Thursday (November 4). However, no casualties were reported in the incident. Jahangir Alam, senior station manager of DEPZ Fire Service, said a fire broke out at a shoe factory called Pace International Limited on the fifth floor of a multi-storey building in Sarkar Market area of Ashulia. There are five units of DEPZ Fire Service and two units of Savar Fire Service working on fire control.
After trying for two hours, he brought the fire under control. He added that it was not possible to know the onset of the fire and the extent of the damage.
