News Desk: After a break of a few days, Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will start selling its products at affordable prices in the open market from Wednesday. However, the company has increased the price of oil by Tk 10 per liter and pulses by Tk 5 per liter.

In other words, from now on you have to pay 110 rupees instead of 100 rupees to buy one liter of TCB oil. One kg of lentils should be bought at Tk 80 instead of Tk 55. However, the price of sugar has been kept unchanged at Tk 55 and onion at Tk 30.

TCB said in a press release on Tuesday (November 2).

The sale of the fifth installment of the mobile truck at a subsidized price by TCB will start from Wednesday to keep the prices of essential commodities stable in the market and to help the people of ordinary income, the statement said.

TCB will sell its products in 400-450 mobile trucks in metros, districts and upazilas across the country, which will continue till November 26, excluding Friday holidays.

A buyer can buy a maximum of two liters of soybean oil, two kg of sugar, two kg of pulses and two and a half kg of onion from a TCB truck.
