News Desk: The price of onion has come down in the markets of the capital during the week. At the same time, the price of chicken has also come down. However, the price of eggs has increased. And the prices of most vegetables remain unchanged.

A search of various markets in the capital on Friday (October 29th) found that traders were selling onions at  50-60 per kg, up from  70-75 last week.

Regarding the reduction in the price of onion, Gautam, a trader in Karwan Bazar, said that the price had gone up due to the shortage of onions from India during the puja. However, there is no shortage of onions in the market. There are sufficient quantities of both domestic and imported onions. Due to this, the price of onion is decreasing now. If there is nothing unusual, the price will go down further.
