Three and a quarter lakh students dropped out of this SSC

News Desk: SSC and equivalent examinations will start on November 14. A total of 22 lakh 26 thousand 113 students are expected to take part in this examination. Of these, 16 lakh 80 thousand 360 people are taking part regularly. 5 lakh 56 thousand 733 people are taking part as irregular. However, 19 lakh 46 thousand 57 people registered in the ninth class as regular students to take part in the examination.

The remaining two lakh 7 thousand 6 people are not taking the test due to various reasons. In other words, about 17 percent of the registered students have dropped out. According to the Ministry of Education, a total of 29,035 candidates from 29,035 schools, madrasas and technical institutes in 3,069 centers will take part in the examination this year. 16 lakh 996 students from 16 thousand 7 schools will take part in SSC examination from 9 general boards. And 3 lakh 1 thousand 6 candidates from 9 thousand 110 madrasas will take part in the entrance test in 610 centers. Under the Technical Education Board, 1 lakh 24 thousand 228 students from 2349 technical institutes will take part in SSC and Dakhil Vocational examinations.

Last year, a total of 20,46,069 candidates from 28,074 schools, madrasas and technical institutes in 3,512 centers took part in the SSC and equivalent examinations. As a result, the number of SSC candidates has increased from last year to 1 lakh 89 thousand 334 this year. And the number of test centers has increased to 16. The number of institutions has increased to 151.

The written examination of SSC will be held from November 14 to November 23 and the admission and SSC vocational examination will be held from November 21. The practical examination for SSC and Dakhil will end on November 28. SSC and equivalent results will be released within 30 days after the end of the examination.
