With the departure of monsoon winds, it may rain in 3 parts of the country

News Desk: The south-west monsoon, which rains during the monsoon season with a lot of water vapor from the Arabian Sea, has finally left the land of Bangladesh. Meteorologists said that the monsoon winds usually left in the first half of October, but this time it was a bit late.

With the departure of monsoon, the whole country is without rain. However, light rain is expected in Rangpur, Barisal and Chittagong in the next 24 hours, the meteorological department said.

In the last 24 hours from 8 am on Friday (October 22) to 8 am on Saturday (October 22), 9 mm of rain fell in Hatia of Chittagong division, 3 mm in Tentulia of Rangpur, 3 mm in Khulna and 3 mm in Patwali of Barisal, 1 mm in Khepupara and 2 mm in Bhola.

Meteorologist said. Monowar Hossain said the increase in light pressure extends to the North Bay. Although the monsoon winds have departed from the land, it is weak in the North Bay. The south-west monsoon is favorable for departure from the North Bay.

In the next 24 hours forecast from 9 am on Saturday, the Meteorological Department said that there may be temporary gusts of rain or thundershowers at one or two places in Rangpur, Barisal and Chittagong divisions. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will be mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies.

During this time, day and night temperatures across the country may remain almost unchanged, the forecast said.

The highest temperature in the country on Friday was 34.2 degrees Celsius in Jessore. The minimum temperature in Rajarhat on Saturday morning was 20.3 degrees Celsius.
