Khaleda Zia was admitted to the hospital

News Desk: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has been admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital for a health check-up. Earlier on Tuesday (October 12), he reached the hospital at 4:04 pm.

The acting director of the hospital's medical services. Arif Mahmud told reporters this information. He said BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has been admitted to hospital.

Earlier, Khaleda Zia's doctor Professor AZM Zahid Hossain had said that the BNP chairperson had been feeling ill for some time. There is also some body temperature. That is why Madam will be taken to Bashundhara's Evercare Hospital at 3 pm for a checkup by the medical team. There, the medical board headed by specialist doctor Shahabuddin Talukder will review everything. The board will see her, then Madame's latest condition will be informed.

Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of the media wing of the BNP chairperson, said that BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir had met her before taking her to the hospital. He has been inquiring about Madame's physical condition for some time in Firoza.

Earlier on April 11, Khaleda Zia's coroner's report came positive. At the beginning, the BNP chairperson was undergoing treatment in a room of Firoza's residence in Gulshan. Khaleda Zia underwent a CT scan at Evercare Hospital on April 15. From there he was brought back to his Gulshan residence. When his condition deteriorated, he was admitted to the same hospital on April 28.

Then on May 3, Khaleda Zia was transferred from the cabin to the CCU after feeling short of breath. The BNP announced the release of Khaleda Zia on May 9.

Khaleda Zia suddenly contracted fever while in CCU. On June 3, on the advice of doctors, he was brought back to the cabin. He returned home 17 days later.
