News Desk: Coronavirus has killed 11 people in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of deaths in Corona in the country stands at 26,799. At the same time, 599 new corona have been identified. So far, the total number of identified patients stands at 15 lakh 72 thousand 958 people.

The information was given in a regular press release on Monday (October 11) sent by the Department of Health. On Sunday (October 10), 14 people died of the virus in the previous 24 hours, and Corona was identified in 461 bodies.

A statement from the Department of Health said 834 people had recovered from Corona in one day. So far, a total of 15 lakh 24 thousand 47 people have recovered.

In the last 24 hours, samples of 23,642 people were collected. 23 thousand 193 samples were tested. In contrast to the test, the patient identification rate is 2.56 percent.

So far, the detection rate of 99 lakh 65 thousand 369 samples in 157 percent of the tests. The recovery rate per 100 people is 98.53 percent and the death rate is 1.6 percent.

Among those killed in 24 hours were 2 males and 9 females. At that time 6 people died in Dhaka, 1 in Khulna, 2 in Barisal and 1 in Mymensingh. No one died in Chittagong, Rajshahi, Sylhet and Rangpur.

On March 6 last year, coronavirus was detected in the bodies of the first 3 people in the country. Ten days later, on March 17 of that year, the first person in the country died of the virus.
