The body of an abandoned woman was recovered 8 hours after the disappearance

News Desk: The body of an abandoned woman has been recovered eight hours after she went missing in Rajnagar upazila of Moulvibazar. The incident took place at Taharlamu village in Mansurnagar union of the upazila on Thursday (October 8). It is learned that Khairun Begum (48), daughter of Kadar Ullah of the village, could not be found after 10 am on Thursday.

Eight hours later, at around 6 pm, his relatives found his body in a field near the village. After receiving the news, Rajnagar police recovered the body and sent it to Moulvibazar General Hospital morgue for autopsy. Her sister Yusuf Mia said her husband Khairun lived in her father's house. “My aunt hasn’t been found since morning,” he said. We did a lot of searching and found his body in a field next to the village in the evening.

Yusuf Miah claims his aunt was killed. He said there were signs of injuries on the body. Confirming the rescue of the woman's body, Rajnagar Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nazrul Islam told Jago News that action would be taken after investigation.
