The United Nations has evaluated the right person

Awami League presidium member Begum Matia Chowdhury has said that the United Nations has evaluated the right person by calling Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina a 'crown jewel'.

On Friday (September 24) morning, the Krishak League held a joyous procession congratulating Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the occasion of receiving the SGD Progress Award and Crown Jewel Award given by the United Nations.

The procession started from Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital and went around Gulistan area. Workers of different levels of Krishak League took part in the procession.

Earlier, in a brief speech, the chief guest Begum Matia Chowdhury said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has made Bangladesh self-sufficient in food by providing all kinds of assistance to the farming community.

He also remarked that all the farming communities of Bangladesh have a share in winning this award.
