In the last 24 hours in the country, 51 more people died in Corona, 1901 identified

News Desk: 51 people have died in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus. The total death toll stands at 26,057. In 24 hours, 1,901 new corona have been identified. The total number of identified patients is 15 lakh 37 thousand 341 people.

This information has been given in the regular press release on taxes sent from the Department of Health on Wednesday.

Earlier, 35 people died on Tuesday, 41 on Monday, 51 on Sunday, 46 on Saturday, 36 on Friday, 56 on Thursday, 52 on Wednesday and 56 on Tuesday.

A statement from the health department said 3,063 people had recovered from the corona in 24 hours. So far, a total of 14 lakh 90 thousand 541 people have recovered.
 In the last 24 hours, samples of 26 thousand 544 people were collected. 25 thousand 615 samples were tested. In contrast to the test, the patient identification rate is 7.84 percent. So far, the detection rate of 93 lakh 32 thousand 480 samples has been 18.46 percent.
 
Of the 51 people killed in 24 hours, 19 were women and 32 were men. During this period 20 people died in Dhaka division. 11 people died in Chittagong division. Four died in Rajshahi, five in Khulna, three in Barisal, five in Sylhet and three in Mymensingh.

On March 6 last year, coronavirus was detected in the bodies of the first 3 people in the country. Ten days later, on March 17 of that year, the first person in the country died of the virus.
