Don't be disappointed, all your problems will be solved: Minister Md. Tajul Islam

Sunamganj Correspondent: Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Md. Tajul Islam said the government is sincere for the people of Haoranchal. Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is planning to build a flyover to improve the communication system of the people of Haor. Don't be discouraged, all your problems will be solved. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is running the country by filling the food shortage, improving the communication and power system, creating employment and improving the lot of the people of Bangladesh.

As a result, the people of Bangladesh have greatly improved. Now the number of extremely poor people has decreased. There are also many projects underway in Haor at present. We are working under the leadership of the Prime Minister to make the village a city. All areas of Haoranchal will no longer be neglected.

He said this while attending a public meeting and a well-organized rally organized by the Upazila Implementation Council at Bazar in the newly formed Madhyanagar Upazila of Sunamganj on Saturday noon. Earlier, he exchanged views with the people of the administration.

The local government minister said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman brought the independence of Bangladesh through struggle and he is the herald of independence. Bangabandhu is the sole herald, the dreamer of Bangladesh and the founder of Bangladesh. There is no one equal to Bangabandhu. Those who slander Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will not be spared. They will be resisted.

The local government minister said the government was working to take the neglected haor dwellers forward. The project has been rationally taken up in Haoranchal and Charanchal areas. Work is also underway. A flyover project for the haor has already been passed. More projects are under consideration. Everything will be implemented in phases.

Planning Minister MA Mannan, Local MP Moazzem Hossain Ratan MP, Local Government Secretary Helal Uddin, District Council Chairman Nurul Huda Mukut, Deputy Commissioner Md Jahangir Hossain, Sunamganj Municipality Mayor Nader Bakht, Tahirpur Upazila Parishad addressed the public meeting. Chairman Karuna Shinchu Chowdhury Babul, Chairman of Dharmapasha Upazila Parishad Mozzammel Hossain Rukn and others.

Madhynagar Upazila Implementation Council President Advocate Abdul Majid Talukder presided over the function.
