In the last 24 hours, 288 people have been admitted to the hospital with dengue

News Desk: In the last 24 hours, 27 new patients have been admitted with Aedes mosquito-borne dengue fever. Of them, 232 were admitted to hospitals in the capital and 57 outside Dhaka.

With this, the number of dengue patients admitted in hospitals across the country now stands at 1,256. Of them, 1,008 are admitted in Dhaka Hospital and 189 are admitted in hospitals outside Dhaka.

On Tuesday (September 14), the officer in charge of the Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room of the Department of Health. Md. This information has been given in the notification signed by Kamrul Kibria.

From January 1 to September 14 this year, the number of dengue patients admitted in public and private hospitals in the country is 14,509. 13,196 of them have returned home healthy. 57 people have died due to dengue.

In the last 24 hours, out of 232 people admitted across the country, 97 were admitted to government and autonomous hospitals in Dhaka and 134 to private hospitals and clinics. Besides, 189 people were admitted in different departments outside Dhaka.

Of the total dengue patients this year, 32 were admitted in January, 9 in February, 13 in March, three in April, 43 in May, 262 in June and 2,027 in July, 7,798 in August and 4,153 till September 14.

58 of them died. Of these, 12 died in July, 34 in August and 11 until September 14.
