News Desk: 51 people have died in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus. The total death toll stood at 26,931. In 24 hours, 1,061 new corona have been identified. The total number of identified patients is 15 lakh 30 thousand 413 people.

The information was given in a regular press release on Sunday (September 12) sent by the Department of Health. Earlier, 48 people died on Saturday, 36 on Friday, 56 on Thursday, 52 on Wednesday, 56 on Tuesday and 85 on Monday. A statement from the health department said 3,056 people had recovered from the corona in 24 hours. So far, a total of 14 lakh 8 thousand 721 people have recovered.

In the last 24 hours, samples of 25,112 people were collected. 25,084 samples were tested. In contrast to the test, the patient identification rate is 7.48 percent. So far, the identification rate of 92 lakh 46 thousand 733 samples has been 16.55 percent. Of the 51 people killed at the time, 22 were women and 29 were men. During this period, 19 people died in Dhaka division. Then 14 people died in Chittagong division.

One died in Rajshahi, nine in Khulna, six in Sylhet, one in Rangpur and one in Mymensingh. No one was killed in Barisal division. On March 8 last year, the first 3 people in the country were diagnosed with coronavirus. Ten days later, on March 17 of that year, the first person in the country died of the virus.
