Autobiography of JOB students demanding online test

JOB Correspondent: Students of Jagannath University (JU) have submitted their affidavits demanding that the semester exams stuck in the corona epidemic be taken online by September. The memorandum was submitted seeking the administration's intervention in taking the test online quickly.

Tuesday (August 31) on behalf of the general students of the University Treasurer of the University. A memorandum has been sent along with Kamaluddin Ahmed. Students of different departments of different academic years of the university were present during the submission of the memorandum.

According to the affidavit, the Corona epidemic has been locked down at the university for 18 months from March 2020 to August 2021 last year. In the meantime, we have completed 2 semester exam classes, midterm exam, assignment, vaibao online. A recent survey of JOB students found that about 6 percent of JOB students agreed to take the semester exams online.

It has also been said that in this situation, considering the study and session jitters of the students, we should be given the opportunity to take the semester exams online.

In this regard, the treasurer of the university, Professor. Kamaluddin Ahmed told the students, "I will give utmost importance to this matter and will take all necessary steps to take the test."

It is to be noted that all the educational institutions were closed for 18 long months from March last year to August 2021 due to the Corona epidemic. Following that, the 54th Academic Council of Jagannath University decided to take the exam online on August 10, but it was not implemented. The 55th Academic Council is scheduled to take a decision on the exam on Tuesday.
