Another 170 dengue patients in 24 hours

News Desk: In the last 24 hours, 170 more people have been admitted to various government and private hospitals in the country including the capital Dhaka due to dengue fever. 164 of them were admitted to Dhaka and 8 to hospitals outside Dhaka. At present, the total number of dengue patients admitted to the hospital stands at 709.

Among the admitted patients, 79 are admitted in Dhaka hospital and 30 outside Dhaka. In the last 24 hours, out of 184 people admitted in the capital, 32 were admitted to government and autonomous hospitals and 132 to various private hospitals and clinics.

Statistics show that from January 1 this year to today (July 30), a total of 2,482 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country, including the capital. Of them, 1,649 have returned home healthy.
