News Desk: Another 3 million doses of Synofarm coronavirus vaccine from China have reached the country. Biman Bangladesh Airlines arrives at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport from Beijing Capital International Airport on Thursday (July 29) at 10:30 pm and Friday (July 30) morning on three separate special flights carrying vaccines.

Each flight carries 10 lakh vaccines. This information has been given in a press release signed by Tahera Khandaker, Deputy General Manager of Public Relations Branch of Biman Bangladesh Airlines. According to Biman Bangladesh Airlines sources, three state-of-the-art Dreamliners (one Boeing 8-9 and two Boeing 7-8) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines left for China from Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on July 29 to bring a total of 3 million doses of corona vaccine to the country. Biman Bangladesh Airlines has very carefully taken steps to bring these vaccines to the country through special arrangements at the required temperature. The airline is transporting vaccines, ventilators and other protective equipment at cost-effective corona times in strict compliance with international aviation policy and the World Health Organization (WHO) safety policy.

On May 12, for the first time, five lakh vaccines of Synoform came to the country. Those vaccines are given as gifts to Bangladesh by the Chinese government. On May 19, the government approved in principle the direct purchase of the SARS-Cove-to-Vaccine made by China Sinofarm. Then comes the purchase and gift vaccine from China in a few steps.

A large part of the mass immunization program that the government has started in the country has set the target of giving these vaccines. Earlier, on May 8, the World Health Organization (WHO) approved the emergency use of the vaccine. Then Bangladesh also approved its use.
