'India can vaccinate Bangladesh if production increases'

News Desk: Indian High Commissioner to Dhaka Vikram Doraiswamy said, ‘I went to India to learn about vaccine production. Vaccine production in India is growing rapidly. Hopefully, if production increases, I will be able to vaccinate Bangladesh. But I can't say for sure on any given day. We are working to ensure the supply of vaccines to an important friend like Bangladesh. '

He made the remarks at the Akhaura International Checkpost on his way back to Bangladesh from India on Friday (July 23rd) morning.

High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswamy said trade between India and Bangladesh has increased at a significant rate in the last one year. In other words, if the communication system is good, we will be able to continue trade in Corona.

He added that the current situation in India is much better. But both countries still need to be vigilant. Bangladesh is our close friend. Bangladesh is also fighting against Corona. We will be happy to cooperate with Bangladesh in this regard.
