Awami League's Eid reunion held in Spain

Spain Correspondent: The Spain branch of Bangladesh Awami League, comprising grassroots leaders and activists, has organized an Eid reunion with expatriate leaders and activists in Madrid, Spain to enjoy Eid.

AKM Zahirul Islam, Chief Adviser to the Spanish Awami League, was the chief guest at the event, which was presided over by Md. Dulal Safar, President of the Spanish Awami League, to spread friendship, brotherhood and Eid joy among the expatriate Bangladeshis.

Abdul Quader Dhali, senior vice-president of the organization, Faizur Rahman Bara Bhai, Syed Monir Ahmed and Lalu Chowdhury addressed the Eid reunion function at a local restaurant in Lavapiech on July 21 in Madrid, hosted by HM Dabir Talukder, general secretary of the organization. Asadur Rahman Saad, Dulal Sarkar, Shafiqul Islam. Besides, among others, freedom fighter son Abdul Aziz, Kalam Sarkar, Juba League leader Saiful Islam Sohag, Sohail Mia, Shamsu Mia, Sahafatullah, Abdul Gafur and others spoke.

At the beginning of the program, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the slain members of Bangabandhu's family and the leaders and activists of the party who were recently infected with Corona virus at home and abroad.
Everyone was requested to join the meeting with the aim of expanding the scope of the organization. However, those who do not believe in the ideals of Bangabandhu and are willing to join the greed for power are strongly discouraged from joining the organization of hybrids or cowboys. There are also important discussions on multiple organizational issues.

In his speech, Md. Dulal Safa wished Eid-ul-Azha to all and sought the cooperation of all in forming a full committee of the Spanish Awami League. He also lauded the strong leadership of Bangladesh's development and people's leader Sheikh Hasina. He urged all those who believe in Bangabandhu's ideology to unite under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina and carry out the activities of Awami League in exile.
