Aceland stopped work on a building under construction on the Louhjong River in Tangail

Tangail Correspondent: Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate of Tangail Sadar Md Khairul Islam directed to stop the construction work of the building under construction on the banks of Louhjong River near Kortia Hat in Tangail Sadar Upazila. Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Md. Khairul Islam said that according to the river law, the area up to 30 feet from the river bank is demarcated.

Abul Kalam Azad, principal of HM Institute in Kortia area, was to occupy the bank of the river and construct the building. It has been directed to stop the construction work of the building till the construction materials are removed from the river bank. Additional Superintendent of Police of Tangail Sadar Circle and other members of law enforcement were present at the time.
