Inauguration of Cartography Lab in Jabi Geography and Environment Department

JOB Correspondent: A state-of-the-art cartography lab has been inaugurated at Jagannath University (JU) to conduct practical and research activities in the Department of Geography and Environment.

The renovated photography lab of Jagannath University's Department of Geography and Environment was inaugurated at 12 noon on Tuesday (June 29). Jagannath University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mother. Imdadul Haque inaugurated the lab.

The inaugural ceremony was presided over by the Chairman of the Department of Geography and Environment Mohammad Abdul Quader, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Imdadul Haque delivered the inaugural address.

In his inaugural address, the Vice-Chancellor said that like other public universities in the country, Jagannath University will have the best quality laboratory in the Department of Geography and Environment. At the same time, he expressed his determination to have adequate budget in the laboratory sector.

The inaugural function was presided over by Mr. Muhammad Abdul Quader, Honorary Chairman, Department of Geography and Environment, Jagannath University. All the teachers, officers and employees of the department were present on the occasion.

After the inauguration, all the teachers and students including the Vice Chancellor and Treasurer visited the lab.
