Approval of the use of the Russian vaccine Sputnik-Five in the country

News Desk: The country has approved the emergency use of the Russian vaccine Sputnik-Five. The Committee on Emergency Public Health Medicines, Experimental Medicines, Vaccines and Medical Equipment has given its approval.

The decision to approve the vaccine was taken at a meeting of the Department of Drug Administration on Tuesday (April 28th). As a result, there are no legal restrictions on the import and use of the Russian Corona vaccine.

According to official documents, Russia will be able to vaccinate Bangladesh from next month, i.e. May, if it wants to buy. Earlier on Friday (April 23rd), Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said Moscow-Dhaka had agreed to produce the Russian vaccine Sputnik-5 in the same country.

Talks are also underway to bring in a Chinese vaccine. "We have agreed to Russia's offer to produce vaccines in the country," he said. Because we can sell it in third countries.
