The teenager was killed when he was hit by a motorcycle in Chatmohar

Chatmohar (Pabna) Correspondent: A teenager named Maruf Hossain (13) was killed when he was hit by a speeding motorcycle at Chatmohar in Pabna. The accident took place at Sabuj Para village of Chaikola union of the upazila on Sunday evening.

The deceased was identified as Maruf, son of Zaidul Islam of the village. Locals rescued motorcyclist Asif Hossain who was seriously injured in the accident and admitted him to Pabna General Hospital. Motorcyclist Asif's house is in Chaikola Paschim Para village. According to local and police sources, the teenager Maruf Hossain was returning home from the market on a bicycle on Sunday evening.

Maruf, a teenager with a bicycle, fell into a ditch on the side of the road and the driver, Asif, was also seriously injured. The locals rescued them and took them to the Upazila Health Complex, where Kishore Maruf died. The motorcyclist Asif was admitted to the Upazila Health Complex.

Seeing his condition deteriorating there, he was taken to Pabna Medical College and later to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. His condition is said to be critical. Officer-in-charge (OC) of Chatmohar Police Station Aminul Islam said police were sent to the spot soon after learning of the accident. Further legal action will be taken if any complaint is received.
