Faridpur Correspondent: At the initiative of Faridpur District Police, Iftar items have been distributed among the extremely poor, pedestrians and the destitute. Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Investigation) Jamal Pasha distributed Iftar items at various places in the city on Wednesday (April 21st) afternoon. Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) Mohammad Tariqul Islam and Sub-Inspector Reserve Officer Anwar Hossain were present on the occasion.
Additional Superintendent of Police Jamal Pasha said that during the second wave of the epidemic, the district police in Faridpur has made arrangements to distribute Iftar to the helpless, uprooted, and impoverished people in the midst of the lockdown. We have been able to distribute among 150 people today and the distribution of Iftar will continue every day during the holy month of Ramadan.
