3 injured in Ramgarh pickup-CNG head-on collision

Ramgarh Correspondent: Three people were injured in a head-on collision between a pickup van and CNG belonging to Pran RFL's group at Ramgarh in Khagrachhari. The accident took place on the Ramgarh-Khagrachhari road in the Patachhara area of ​​the Upazila around 1 pm on Wednesday (April 21).

The injured were identified as Md Jamal Uddin, 45, a CNG driver from Ramgarh Gorjantali, Chittarani Tripura, 20, and Habibur Rahman, 60, a college student from Manikchandra Para in Ramgarh. According to eyewitnesses, a CNG-bound Pran-RFL group pickup van (Dhaka Metro-A13-0590) heading from Khagrachhari to Feni and a CNG heading from Ramgarh to Patachhara collided head-on.

When the CNG driver and passengers got stuck inside and shouted, they were rescued with the help of pedestrians and sent to Ramgarh Hospital. Ramgarh police officer in charge (OC) said.

Samsuzzaman said that after receiving the news, the driver of the pickup van along with the van and CNG were arrested and brought to the police station.
