Inauguration of Panchagarh vegetable train

Panchagarh Correspondent: Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan (MP) has announced the re-launch of special parcel trains in Panchagarh for the convenience of farmers in the north and to meet the demand for agricultural products in different parts of the country. The promise was finally fulfilled. On Monday (April 19), the freight train was launched from Panchagarh Bir Muktijoddha Sirajul Islam Railway Station. Meanwhile, on the first day, traders sent about 3 metric tons of vegetables including cucumber, brinjal, dried chilis tomatoes.

On behalf of Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan MP, a function was organized at Sirajul Islam Railway Station in Panchagarh. Dr. Sabina Yasmin, Deputy Commissioner, Panchagarh, inaugurated the vegetable train as the chief guest on the occasion. Superintendent of Police Mohammad Yusuf Ali, Panchagarh Zilla Parishad Chairman and District Awami League General Secretary Alhaj Anwar Sadat Samrat, Lalmonirhat Division Manager of Bangladesh Railway Shah Sufi Nur Mohammad, Panchagarh Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman and Sadar Upazila Awami League President Amirul Islam, Panchagarh Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Arif Hossain was present.
