Medical admission test was postponed

News Desk: The admission test for the dental college for the academic year 2020-21 is scheduled to be held on April 30, but it has been postponed due to corona. The Medical Admission Test Organizing Committee has taken a policy decision to conduct this test in the last week of May. The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Ali Noor. The meeting was attended by the President of the Medical Admission Test Organizing Committee and Principal of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Prof. ABM Maksudul Alam and the Member Secretary of the Admission Test Organizing Committee and Director of the Department of Health Education (Medical Education) Prof. Dr. AKM Ahsan Habib was present. According to meeting sources, Corona is carrying out violence in the country at the moment.

Students as well as everyone involved with the admission test are at risk. The Department of Health Education does not want to conduct examinations in this situation.

Therefore, a policy decision has been taken to postpone the examination after discussing it with everyone in the meeting. The probable date of the dental admission test is May 26 or June 4. A notification in this regard will be issued by the Department of Health Education soon. If you want to know in this context, the medical admission test organizing committee member secretary Prof. AKM Ahsan Habib said the decision to postpone the exam was taken considering the current situation in the country.

The dental admission test is not being held on April 30. He further said that the probable date of admission test in dental college has been fixed as of last Friday of May or first Friday of June. However, if the Corona situation is not normal then this date may be postponed. A notification in this regard will be issued very soon.

Incidentally, on February 8, the Department of Health Education published the admission notification for MBBS and Dental College for the academic year 2020-21. According to the notification, the admission test for the MBBS course was held on April 2 at 55 venues in 19 centers across the country.
