News Desk: The government has announced a seven-day lockdown in the country to curb the outbreak of coronavirus. During this period, the Department of Secondary and Higher Education has instructed to stop the activities of secondary assignment. The company issued instructions in this regard on Sunday night. The departmental deputy director, district education officer, and Upazila or thana education officer and heads of educational institutions have been directed to implement the order.

Like last year, this year too, the assessment activities started from March 20 in each educational institution to assess the students of class VI to IX through assignments and assigned work. This activity was also suspended due to strict government restrictions.

An earlier instruction issued by Mausi said that students' assignments and assignments would be published on Mausi's website two days before the start of the week. At the end of the week, students will complete their assignment or assign a new assignment by submitting it to the educational institution. Schools are asked to give and receive assignments to students online or at a social distance.

The ministry said in a statement that class activities in the country's educational institutions have been suspended since March 16 last year due to the Corona epidemic. As a result, the curriculum activities scheduled for the 2021 academic year could not be started.

For this reason, in order to continue the learning process of the students by rearranging the curriculum and syllabus, arrangements have been made for continuous assessment in the 2021 academic year like last year through assignments or scheduled assignments.
